Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2023: More Than 1 Lakh Vacancies, Check Eligibility & Application Process

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has increased the number of seats for the ongoing School Teacher Recruitment in middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Bihar.

The ongoing Recruitment is for a total of 1,22,286 school teacher vacancies, with 50,263 additional seats added, according to the latest notification. Eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website.

The last date for application is 25 November. The exam date for Bihar Teacher Exam 2023 conducted by BPSC is from December 7, 2023, to December 10, 2023.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2023: Applying Last Date

The last date for registration for Bihar teacher Recruitment is November 14. However, interested candidates can apply till November 25 with a late fee.

The Bihar teacher Recruitment 2023 is being conducted for the posts of Primary Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Post Graduate Teacher posts.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the role of teacher under BPSC Recruitment scheme need to ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria:

1. Age Limit

• The minimum age limit for primary school teachers is 18 years.
• The minimum age limit for secondary and senior secondary school teachers is 21 years.
• The maximum age limit for men in General category is 37 years.
• The maximum age limit for OBC and BC women is 40 years.
• The maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates is 42 years.

 

2. Educational Qualification

• The minimum qualification for primary teachers is 12th pass.
• Teachers at the secondary levels should have graduate degree.
• Teachers at the higher secondary levels should have post-graduate degree.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the posts of BPSC teachers. Further, candidates applying for BPSC Recruitment have no limitations on the number of attempts.
