Engagement Service Centers (ESCs), is a group that provides dedicated administrative support to the Audit function. The group serve as hubs of highly skilled, dedicated resources that are available to support engagement teams and perform work in a variety of specific areas which are non-audit in nature but are essential for completion of the audit. Some of the major services provided by ESC include Engagement Letter ESC (EL ESC), Client Acceptance ESC (CA ESC), Independence Support ESC (IS ESC) and Ancillary Services.
As an Analyst, you are expected to take ownership and ensure the delivery of deliverables. These deliverables could be part of activities relating to preparing engagement letters, creating trial balance and lead sheets, creating and generating confirmation requests, reviewing documents and initiating client acceptance procedures, monitoring approved services for compliance with regulatory rules and Deloitte independence policies and other ancillary services.
