Main Responsibilities: Front-End Development: • Design and implement scalable, responsive web applications using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, or any other JavaScript framework. • Collaborate with the team to define web architectures for connected vehicle services. • Ensure web applications are integrated with backend APIs using RESTful services. Back-End Development: • Design and implement scalable distributed backend architectures hosted on AWS tailored for EV vehicles. • Develop, deploy, and test microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes. • Implement messaging solutions using Apache Kafka. • Utilize relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and manage caching with Redis. • Deploy applications on AWS EC2, RDS, Redis, ElasticCache, and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including CI/CD, TDD, and Agile methodologies. • Utilize Datadog for monitoring and logging. • Create API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI. • Conduct thorough testing with JUnit, Mockito, Python, and Spring Boot Test. • Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in web and backend development. • Strong front-end development experience using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript. • Proficiency in back-end development using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, including services such as EC2, RDS, Redis, ElasticCache, and EKS. • Experience with API integration and RESTful services. • Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). • Knowledge in caching mechanisms with Redis. • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. • Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and its use cases. • Experience with over-the-air (OTA) server technology and services. • Previous experience in the automotive industry or working on automotive-related services. • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools. • Understanding of web testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Jest. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: • Workstream – Certification Activities in the DHU ( certified candidate ) • Test cases for certification o Generation and reviewing • Test reports for self-test items (i.e. FMVSS / KMVSS ) • Certification stakeholder management (external function groups) and alignment • Project Management skills – timing and issue reporting • Requirements tracing and tracking • New market analysis for certification topics • Support the DHU Engineer with FUSA Analysis and stakeholder engagement • Support the DHU Engineer with Cyber Security and stakeholder engagement We're keen to talk to people with the following skills and experience: • Masters or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline • More than 5 years of experience working within the automotive industry as a Component Owner or Systems Owner within the ConX domain. • Certification of Infotainment and Instrument Cluster Systems (EU / US / CHINA / ROW) • Requirement management and toolchains (i.e. Systemweaver / Carweaver / DOORS) • Experience in delivery in ConX End-to-End solution and products, including Head Units, instrument clusters and certification • NCAP Infotainment Requirements • JIRA experience is desirable but not essential • FUSA – Functional Safety Topics for Infotainment (telltales, power management, ASIL requirements in the head unit or instrument cluster, E2E signalling) • CS – Cyber Security topics for Infotainment (threat vectors, TARA / HARA, intrusion detection systems) • Experience in joint reviews with stakeholders and tier1s with respect to CS and FUSA. • Fluent in English
