About AIC – Sangam Innovation Foundation: AIC-Sangam isIndia’sfirst and only Incubator dedicated to fighting climate change. AICSangam was set up under the AIC scheme of Niti Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission along with Sangam Ventures to make cleantech entrepreneurship attractive for the next generation of entrepreneurs and help shape the eco-system around innovation to fight climate change. The incubator has seating to host 60+ full-time resident start-up team members, event space and common area for meet-ups, events and workshops and a dedicated prototyping lab space for rapid prototyping and product development for hardware start-ups.

About the Role:

We are looking to build a core incubation team that can help design and execute our vision for a more sustainable society and attract the best-in-class talent to foster entrepreneurship in the climate change sector. The Incubation Manager will report directly to Senior Incubation Managers.

The primary role of an Incubation Manager will be as follows:

• Develop and execute a strategy for outreach, hunting, attracting and onboarding deserving and qualified innovative entrepreneurs & start-ups.
• Recruiting and onboarding cleantech start-ups to be part of the incubator & acceleration programs.
• Assisting startups in Product Design, Prototype Development and deployment at the customer site.
• Mentoring and assisting incubated start-ups with various aspects of Product development and Business.
• Manage the day-to- dayinteractionwiththeIncubatees and ensure tight management of milestones and their progress.
• Develop, execute and own an operational and engagement strategy for the entire community including the startups, investors, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts.
• Participate in local networking events and discussion forums that are frequented by start-ups or any domain experts.
• Organize various events that'll help us grow our community and also keeps the start-ups engaged.
• Design programs, training session and platforms to engage women and other prospective entrepreneurs in clean technology and STEM roles and attract new talent to the sector.
• Collaborate with other organizations focused on supporting start-ups and clean technology
• Engage with university programs and groups for innovation and entrepreneurship to evangelize. the opportunity to join the AIC
• Develop and maintain relationships with government & corporate organizations to benefit the start-ups.
• Take ownership of social media outreach, write blog posts, newsletters and moderate forums that can help the start-up community grow.

Skill and Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Management.
• Min 2 to 3 years of experience working with start-ups.
• Experience in product prototype development and deployment.
• Proven track record of managing projects.
• Capable of writing reports and meeting deadlines.
• An extrovert with enough exposure to organizing public events.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Proficient in MS-Word, Excel and Power-point.
