Segula Technology Is Hiring Automotive Engineers | Pune | Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Create and validate the FEA model.
• Debug and Solve CAE calculations of Full vehicle automotive system/ Subsystem.
• Able to validate the correctness of CAE results & Proceed with Evaluations [Summarizing CAE results]
• Find the issue, Root cause, and Mechanism and propose feasible solutions.
• Deliver analysis results to the reporting project Leader/Team leader - Following the best-practice methods

Qualifications:

• BE or master’s in mechanical /Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts

Essential skills:

• Good knowledge of automotive CAE modelling.
• Good Knowledge of Model building using Hypermesh/ANSA.
• For Strength and Durability - Knowledge of Linear & Non-linear analysis using PAMCRASH and Nastran.
• Good knowledge of Fatigue calculation Using FEMFAT.
• Prepare CAE reports based on test data (Test Vs CAE Correlation).

Software Skills Required:

• Hypermesh/ANSA, PAMCRASH, Nastran (NVH), Animator For Crash & Safety.b
• Knowledge of Non-linear analysis using Explicit solver (PAMCRASH or LS-DYNA)
• Good knowledge of Safety regulations & NCAP for Crash.
• Prepare CAE reports based on test data (Test Vs CAE Correlation).

Software Skills Required:

• Hypermesh/ANSA, PAMCRASH or LS-Dyna For NVH.
• Knowledge of Nastran solver
• NVH - Knowledge on NTF and VTF Function,
• Prepare CAE reports based on test data (Test Vs CAE Correlation).

Software Skills Required:

• Hypermesh/ANSA, Nastran For Ride and Handling
• Good Knowledge of Vehicle Dynamics, Ride & Handling
• Knowledge in ADAMS - Basic understanding of Autonomous Vehicle Validation.
• Knowledge in C++ - Must have a good skill level for performing Software-in-Loop (SiL) simulations.
• Knowledge about signal and image processing.
• Basic knowledge of CFD solver.

Software Skills Required:

• Matlab,
• Simulink,
• ADAMS,
• AMESIM For CFD & 1D Simulation
• Knowledge of analysis using CFD solvers.
• Model-Based Design skills using
• Knowledge on Python
• Knowledge of Flow Simulations and 1D simulations

Software Skills Required:

• Star CCM+,
• AMESIM & GTSUIT,
• Matlab/Simulink/State flow,
• CATIA,
• Fluent,
• Star CCM+,
• ANSA,
• TAITHERM

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge in Automotive Systems / Vehicle Structure.
• Knowledge in modifying the FE mesh for an alternative design.
• Knowledge in updating trim body and debug for NVH Managing & Relational

Skills:

• Should be able to communicate and report clearly to the Reporting project Leader/Team leader
• Should be able to learn quickly

Experience: 1-10 years of experience in CAE for Automotive (Sound knowledge of fundamental physics and structural engineering principles)
