SportsBuzz is Hiring UI/UX Designer | Gurgaon

Prerequisites:

1. 4-5 yrs experience in digital product design (minimum 2-3 years in consumer facing native mobile apps).
2. Strong experience with Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Equivalent software. Hands-on experience in prototyping tools like Invision, Principle etc.
3. Ability to marry business objectives & user needs with design - carrying out user research & validating every problem & every solution.
4. Multiple successful product launches that drove meaningful impact to the business.
5. Ability to rapidly ideate and produce multiple UX/UI concepts
6. Ability to obsess on feedback & user data
7. Experience working directly with stakeholders to drive consensus and mine for value
8. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
9. Experience working in continuous delivery environments where the pace is fast
10. A willingness to fail and learn. Earnest, mature, and ego-free. You welcome candid feedback and can constructively give it as well
11. Degrees don't really matter for us as long as there's intent, drive and skill sets.

What we expect from the candidate

1. Lead the app's product design modules, including UI/UX research, interaction and visual design
2. Work with development teams and present ideas and designs effectively. Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and presentations to communicate design ideas and evangelize for them
3. Expand and perfect our in-house product design process. As experiences move from requirements to design to execution, we will look to you to ensure our designs meet brand expectations while driving business results. You will play a critical role in creating a brand accessible to everyone, and making our product understandable and actionable
4. Work with the engineering team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise
5. Creating user stories: Creating personas, crafting meaningful user stories and tasks to design effective interactions
6. Creating clean interactions: Creating intuitive interactions according to design trends.
7. Establishing strong Information Architecture: Logically thinking through the structure and defining the level of information and navigation.
8. Usability Testing: Conducting usability testing to determine effectiveness.
9. Champion the consumer. Obsess over the consumer. Empathize with the consumer.
10. Willing to take risks and push design boundaries - and has a clear POV that can articulate a concept and hold their opinion, while balancing feedback to get to yes/no quickly.
