Job Description: Extreme Network is seeking enthusiastic, innovative, and self-motivated engineers to lead, design, and implement best-in-class solutions for Extreme’s next-generation Enterprise Fabric Network Solutions. The successful candidate will be a key influencer with in a team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting high-quality embedded systems software in the area of data networking. Required Qualifications/Experience: - Minimum of B.E/B.Tech or equivalent inCS/EEE/ECE Area: Design and Development Required Skills: Mandatory: - Experience on Layer2/Layer3 networking protocols - Strong understanding of Data Plane/Forwardingconcepts - Working experience on Broadcom Layer2/Layer3 datapathASICS - Working exposure on DPDK / VPP. - AdvancedknowledgeofLayer-2Bridgingprotocols–STP/MSTP/RSTP,802.1p/q/v,802.3ad, 802.1x,IGMP - Advanced knowledge of Layer-3 Routing protocols – TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP4, PIM, PIM- SM/SSM - In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded software development - Expert programming knowledge inC/C++ - Ability to be productive in flexible and dynamic work environments - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in troubleshooting memory leaks, performance bottlenecks - Experience in leading and mentoring junior members - Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Highly Desirable: - Working experience on Dune/Jerico bases Broadcom datapathasics - Experience with successful multi-site development projects - Ability to learn on the job and be ready to take up challenges - Ability to mentor and guide the new grads, and fresher in the team - Shouldbeabletolead, implement and handle the complete delivery of the component/modules owned
