Excited to announce an opportunity. | Role: Lead Software Engineer (Media Streaming Specialist)

Experience Range: 5-7 years. | Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

As the Media Streaming Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in building and supporting business-critical AV and non-AV related cloud solutions for on-demand and live streaming. This position requires high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise in encoding profiles, bitrate ladders, and video compression technologies.
• Proficiency in audio/video codecs, HDR, 4k, and DRM technologies.
• Experience with dynamic ad insertion, cloud VOD transcode, and packaging services.
• Knowledge of VOD video workflows in various environments.
• Familiarity with CDN acceleration, video origin architecture, and scalability issues.
• Experience with Kaltura, Wowza, and low latency streaming is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on computer science.

Skillset Requirements:

• Proficiency in C#.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, Core Java.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & JQuery.
• Experience with MySQL/MSSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Nginx, Kaltura VOD, and Wowza Streaming Server.
