Tecplix Technology Is Hiring Window Administrator | Bangalore

Roles and Responsibility:

  • To Observe investigation and provide meaningful resolution of tickets and issues across multiple customers for the specified SIEM or EDR type. Escalate issues observed accordingly to a team member if appropriate to ensure optimal performance of the supported platform
  • Aid with maintenance activities to help with improving understanding of the architecture of supported platforms; as well as a self-study to build proficiency for supported toolsets
  • Proactively develop and maintain documentation and knowledge articles for the broader team related to customer support
  • Generate relevant reporting as required for platforms supported on a regular basis; ensuring internal and external reporting requirements are met.
  • Ensure in-life requests are being actioned in a timely manner for self as well as junior roles to ensure effective maintenance and management of the customer platform.
  • With minimal supervision provide support where required to other platform engineers by taking ownership of issues and ensuring requests are rectified focusing on the impact on the customer
  • Daily compliance check and proactively remediate any systems any platform issues.
  • Handling escalation from L1 analysts.
  • Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current platform Framework, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
  • Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems.
  • Part of the team on 24/7 support.
  • Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework, review policies and highlight the challenges in managing SLAs
  • Perform root cause analysis to quickly recover from service interruptions, and to prevent recurring problems.
  • Design dashboard reports, and queries that correctly display accurate data, maintenance, and upgrade plans to ensure endpoint products are clearly defined and communicated
  • Provide supervision and guidance to L1 team & handling escalations
  • Hands-on experience on DLP & Next Gen AV tools like Symantec, BigID, McAfee, Sentinel One and Crowd Strike.
  • • Responsible for major client environmental changes including upgrades.
  • Conducting performance reviews and sharing feedback with both upper management and team members

Desirable Skills:

  • Good skills on Windows Server Operating system like 2012 R2, 2016, 2019.
  • A deep understanding of the workings of supported toolsets and technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and networking basic concepts.
  • Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESX server.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with the virtualization environment including Microsoft Windows 2012 R2, 2016, 2019 , VMware, ESXi and its version upgrades.
  • Experience in monthly patching activities, agent trouble shooting, agent remediation.
  • Creation of monthly Patch baseline reports.
  • Participate in RCA and Problem Management calls if required
  • Experience in change management life cycle.
  • Has a strong knowledge of key business processes, products, and services, within agreed areas of expertise and can provide detailed input and advice to key stakeholders, such as Product Owners, business sponsors and Service Delivery Managers.
  • Basic understanding of technology including Cloud, DevOps, networks, storage systems, servers, operating systems, applications, databases, and web platforms
