Vee Technology Is Hiring Senior Plumbing Design Engineer - US Project Experience

SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - PLUMBING

Designation: Senior Design Engineer - Plumbing

Role: Plumbing design, Modelling, Detailing and Documentation Discipline: MEP Platform: CAD & BIM

Duties:

• Design, Modelling, Detailing and Documentation:
• Design of Plumbing systems (2D & 3D).
• Construction documentation (BIM).
• Detailed design (BIM).
• Makes calculations using engineering formulas and skills for design, such as waste, vent, water, natural gas, storm and medical gas loads and equipment sizing.
• Research design options and document findings for Project Lead.
• Calculates space requirements for proper equipment layout.
• Designs room layouts. Lays out portions of piping systems based on schematic layout by Project Lead.
• QC: Follow project QC checklist: Plumbing
• Implement QC standards across the assigned projects:
• Plumbing: Maintain the same level of quality on all deliverables in all the assigned projects/tasks. 
• Client Coordination: Daily / Weekly status calls with client to update the task status along with the Project Lead.
• Capture and analyze the client requirements: Plumbing
• Deliver the tasks to clients as per the schedule with the supervision of the project lead.
• Responsibilities: This role will have no direct reporting associates.
• Responsible for overall performance of Plumbing tasks (as assigned by the project lead).
• Quality of the deliverables to the clients (on the assigned plumbing tasks).
• Delivery of CAD and BIM projects as per client’s expectations.
• Modelling
• Detailing
• Documentation
• Design and calculation of Plumbing systems (must)

Skillset:

• Revit MEP
• AutoCAD
• BIM360
• Navisworks
• Domain
• USA Plumbing standards
• Working knowledge on USA projects (must).
• Working knowledge of Plumbing systems.
• Design knowledge of Plumbing systems is a must.
• Commercial Buildings & Residential Buildings
• Sports facilities / Stadium / Sports Buildings
• Office Buildings
• Hospital Buildings
• Mixed-use Buildings

Qualification: B. Tech / M. Tech (Mechanical)

Experience:

• Overall 5+ Years on CAD and BIM platforms.
• With 2+ years of Sr.Design Engineer experience(Plumbing).
