UP Police Recruitment Drive: Apply For 60,244 Vacancies, Check Pay, Selection Procedure | How To Apply

The Uttar Pradesh police are recruiting a total of 60,244 candidates for various positions such as constable, SI, jail warder, radio operator, clerical cadre, computer operator, and computer programmer.  The state government on Saturday issued a notification for the biggest police recruitment in the state, expected to employ thousands.

The online applications began on 27 December 2023 and the last date to submit applications is 16 January 2024 while the last date to pay the application fee is 18 January 2024.

Age limit

General (Male): 18-22 years 

General (Female): 18-25 years 

Educational Qualification 

The candidate should be 10th and 12th pass/intermediate till the last date of form submission from any recognized board Or any equivalent qualification approved by the Government.

Stages	Details
Online Examination	Candidates whose application forms are submitted successfully are eligible to appear in the written test. There will be 150 questions from 4 subjects for 300 marks total and a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer
Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST)	Qualified candidates in written examination have to undergo a Document verification process (the candidate’s original documents shall be checked by the officials) and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) where their height & chest (only for males) will be measured. This stage is qualifying in nature.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)	Those candidates who qualify for DV and PST are eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This stage is qualifying in nature.

UP Police Constable Vacancy 2024 Exam pattern 

The UP Police Constable written exam will be an objective-based exam of 300 marks for 150 questions. The total duration would be 2 hours.

Follow the steps below to apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) at http://uppbpb.gov.in/

Step 2: On the homepage click on the link “UP Police Vacancy 2024” when it becomes available. 

Step 3: Register yourself and login with the filled-out registration ID and password. 

Step 4: Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, such as educational certificates, identity proof, and passport-sized photographs, as per the prescribed format and size mentioned in the instructions. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee using online payment methods and submit the form. Step 8: Take a printout of the completed application form and payment receipt for future reference.
