Position: Accounting Analyst

Experience: 3+ years of US accounting experience preferred

Work Hours: 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM

Location: Sumeru Samvit Office - Kanakapura Road

Note: This position requires working for a US client and adhering to US holidays. NO WORK FROM HOME.

Qualifications:

3+ years of US accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks and a thorough understanding of US tax regulations

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Generate accurate invoices from our PSA system based on time entries and Agreement reports, ensuring timely submission to clients.
• Conduct detailed reviews of invoices for accuracy and grammatical correctness.
• Post entries to the general ledger, adhering to the chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
• Perform monthly and quarterly closings with precision.
• Reconcile company credit cards on a monthly basis.
• Apply incoming payments accurately and prepare deposits promptly.
• Collaborate closely with the procurement team to ensure seamless conversion of purchase and sales orders into invoices.
• Oversee internal purchases for year-end tax filing requirements.
• Handle and file state sales and use tax at the end of each month based on resold items.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining billing and accounting processes.
